recommended a great book to me recently: Sipping Dom Pérignon Through a Straw: Reimagining Success as a Disabled Achiever. It’s written by Eddie Ndopu, an African disability and human rights advocate living with spinal muscular atrophy, a rare and degenerative neuromuscular condition. In the book, Eddie recounts his acceptance into Oxford University in England and the many challenges he faced trying to live that dream.
