Disability and Determination is a weekly newsletter about my experience living with a rare disability…with a little bit of meditation, pop culture, and other random things thrown in.
I feel like referring to myself as a "WIP" involved a lot of "should-ing" all over myself and at the end of the day... I'm already enough :) It took me years to get to that realization.
I've never referred to myself as WIP, even though there are things I'd like to work on. I am who I am, like your coworker said, but I want to be a better "me."
I supposed the "progress" part is our evolution. Some people don't want to change. Either they are afraid to or think change shows weakness (like admitting you were wrong before). So just say you are endlessly evolving! LOL. You rule, Jackie. xo
I definitely like the “evolving” much better! I definitely know some of those people who don’t want to change or get better so definitely don’t want to be them either…endlessly evolving it is 😊

Yes! That's exactly how I feel about it too. You are 100% already enough. No shoulds about it 😊

I think that sounds like the perfect balance!
