How is it already June? Though 2025 has certainly felt like 10 years crammed into one, I’m still in disbelief that summer is right around the corner (and in denial as that means the 100+ degree temps are coming).
I’m going to take a break from writing this month for a couple of reasons, but the biggest one being…I’m getting a dog! I’m officially adopting a pug this month. I’m scared and excited, all rolled into one. I’ve wanted a dog for as long as I can remember (a desire that only increased with age), so it feels great to have that dream become a reality. I know it’s going to be a big transition for both of us so I want to be able to devote as much time and care to getting him acclimated as I can.
In the meantime, June will be my one year anniversary of having Red so I thought I would reshare the first post I wrote after getting my walker, especially to celebrate how much easier having one has made my life.
Happy Summer ☀️😎 and Happy Pride Month! 🌈🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
