Congratulations, Jackie! That is one sexy rollator. Now, you just need a couple of Ferrari stickers and some bedazzling to make it yours. xo

Thank you! Definitely trying to figure out how I want to bedazzle her. I added one sticker so need to start adding more😊

Well, Lewis will be driving for Ferrari next year, and his number is 44, so you can add that. (His brother has CP; he's an ally of the disability community...and a very nice human...and a great racing driver, currently in a crap car, but still pulled fastest lap on Sunday...I'll stop.) If I come across anything cool, I'll send it to you. I'm really happy for you, Jackie. This is wonderful. I'm still not opposed to you also carrying a hawt pink, bedazzled cane, though, just to show people who's boss. xo

We got my mom the "Cadillac" of rollator walkers. Her seat is wider than yours (although the cushion is a little hard), there's more storage space underneath and it came with a cup holder (that we store in the storage area). We love that it was foldable, so we were able to toss it (not literally) in the trunk. That was before she fell, of course. She's trying to get back into using it, but she's too unsteady and her vision is getting worse, making her run into walls. :/ Also, thank you for the Netflix show reference. I watched the trailer and will DEF be watching it.

The seat is definitely a little firm on mine too. The little storage compartment underneath is amazing and once I got it, I totally said I need to get a cupholder for it! 😂 Aging is so hard and made so much worse if you fall. Hope your mom is able to get back into using her Cadillac rollator soon. I watch a fair amount of TV too so always happy to pass on my suggestions. Hopefully you like Geek Girl too!

I am so happy for you! Red is a good name—strong and bold.

I think that disabled people getting the right equipment for their needs makes them stronger and smarter; the opposite of weak.

I have always thought that having a disability would be excellent training for aging, and now that I am 66, I can say I was right!

Thank you, that means a lot! You're totally right that getting the right equipment makes us stronger and smarter. I've spent so much of my life just wanting to disappear and not have anyone notice me, something that very much exists in me still but I'm slowly working toward moving past. Red is definitely helping with that too. Thank you for sharing your attitude about aging with a disability too. I always think about it in negative terms for myself, but you're so right...it's excellent training for aging instead.
